A Family Mission to Give Every Cat a Chance.
Kids for Cats was founded over ten years ago by our youngest son, River, after a moment that forever changed our family’s heart. On a rainy evening, while walking through a shopping center parking lot, River discovered two tiny domestic shorthair kittens huddled beside a dumpster, searching for scraps of food. Seeing those frightened, hungry kittens brought him to tears. That night, our family made a promise—that our beautiful Persian cats would become a way to help those less fortunate.

Reuniting and finding forever homes.
Today, Kids for Cats is our family’s way of giving back to the feline community. We proudly support local Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, help locate lost cats and reunite them with their families whenever possible, and when reunification isn’t an option, we work tirelessly to find loving forever homes. More than once, we’ve driven hours just to ensure a cat found the perfect family.
We also donate cat carriers, food, toys, and other much-needed supplies to local shelters. Whenever we can, we sponsor adoption fees for senior cats, special-needs cats, and those who are often overlooked, giving them a better chance at finding the loving homes they deserve. Every Emerald Coast Persian kitten helps make this mission possible.
Because of the families who welcome one of our kittens into their lives, we’re able to continue giving hope to cats who may have never known kindness. At Emerald Coast Persians, we believe every cat—whether a champion Persian or a rescued stray—deserves to be loved, cherished, and given the opportunity to live a beautiful life.
