Once your deposit is placed, the wheels begin turning as we prepare both you and your kitten for homecoming.
We will work closely with you to coordinate the best arrival date for your new companion. Emerald Coast Persians will determine the safest and most practical travel arrangements for your kitten, whether that means traveling by air or by ground.
No matter how your furbaby travels, one thing never changes: your kitten will never leave the care of Emerald Coast Persians until he or she is safely placed in your loving arms. We do not outsource our deliveries. Just as we would never entrust our own children to someone we do not personally know and trust, we would never do so with our precious kittens. Rest assured that the person delivering your kitten has invested their heart, time, and love into helping raise your little one.
Prior to traveling, your kitten will have a final veterinary examination and receive a Certificate of Health. This certificate should be shared with your kitten’s new veterinarian after arrival. We strongly recommend scheduling a wellness visit with your veterinarian within the first week of bringing your kitten home.
Approximately two weeks before homecoming, you will receive a text message or email with reminders and preparation instructions, including the specific food and litter your kitten is accustomed to. We will also provide helpful tips and guidance to make the transition into their new home as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Our goal is to ensure that homecoming is a joyful experience for both you and your new family member. From the day you place your deposit until long after your kitten arrives home, we are here to support you every step of the way.
Emerald Coast Persians is located in the beautiful Florida Panhandle and offers several convenient options to help bring your new furbaby home safely.
For families throughout the United States, we can personally fly into the international airport closest to your home. In situations where the total travel time is less than ten hours, we may choose to drive your kitten directly to you. Our primary goal is always to select the safest, least stressful, and most practical travel option for your kitten.
If you prefer, you are also welcome to fly into our local airport to pick up your kitten in person. We are happy to meet you there at no additional charge.
We work hard to keep delivery costs as affordable as possible and will clearly communicate all delivery expenses before any travel arrangements are scheduled. There are never any surprises when it comes to transportation costs.
Because every family, destination, and kitten is unique, delivery arrangements are discussed and coordinated on an individual basis. We will work with you one-on-one to determine the best option based on your location, schedule, and any special requirements.
